Blow Molding Know-how and Mechanism
BLMS-13000 mainly consists of preform auto-unscrambling mechanism, preform auto-loading mechanism, heating
system, forwarding system, blow molding mechanism, bottle handling mechanism and man-machine interface.
i. After unscrambling the disordered preforms, the unscrambler delivers them to the distributing mechanism, 9 pcs once.
ii. The preform feeding orbit is equipped with a photoelectric sensor switch to detect the absence of preforms. Meanwhile, the
sensor controls the motion of the preform loading motor and distributing cylinder.
iii. The preform loading manipulator clamps up the 9 preforms collocated by the distributing mechanism and puts them into 9
heating holders respectively.
iv. The heating system warms up the preforms loaded by the manipulator in a homothermal way.
v. The preforms are heated by 5 sets of heaters, ten layers of infrared lamp pipes each, in one passage. The temperature of
each layer can be adjusted through man-machine interface.
vi. The preform heating stepping and delivering mechanism is also driven by the servo motor, which makes the transmission
speedy and stable with accurate positioning.
Vii. Before going into the blowing mechanism, the preforms will come across two photoelectric switches which are set to detect
the absence of preforms thus sends signals to conduct blowing or no blowing.
viii. After the forwarding system has finished positioning, the blowing mechanism starts to stretch and blow mold the heated
preforms.
ix. The manipulator chuck of the bottle handling mechanism is driven by the revolving cylinder to take down the finished bottles
from the revolution holders.
x. There is a stroke switch set following the bottle handling mechanism. Once the absence of bottle is detected, the switch will
give an alarm and indicate to stop the machine immediately.
xi. The man-machine interface(touch screen) is the working platform for the operators. It is composed of operating interface,
monitoring interface, parameter input interface, alerting interface, etc.
xii. The blow molding machine is equipped with two 40kg high pressure gas holders (60L each) and two 10kg low pressure gas
holders (one is 27L while the other is 60L) which assures the machine of stable air supply. Besides, it is built with air filtrating
system as well to ensure that the gas is pure and clean.

The capacity for round or oval shape water bottles ≤0.6L (Neck size:2925#,3025#,28#) within 18g can be 12000bph
accordingly.
Nevertheless, it may be decreased to some degree providing the bottle is square or with sharp edges. The actual output
depends on the shape of the bottle, the weight of the preform, the compatibility of the design for the preform and for the bottle,
the blow molding conditions of the plant, etc. To obtain the optimized capacity, the customer must make sure their supply of
water, power and air meets the relevant requirements and the operators run and maintain the machine properly, conforming to
the user's manual.
